Installing XS Finance + Upgrade for existing mcBank Users

To install XS Finance follow the steps below:

IMPORTANT : Before you Install
Please make sure that before you install XS Finance, any other xcite Software product is closed on the device first. For example, if you have XS Portfolio installed, please quit this program before installing XS Finance

xcite Software products share common files (the XS Runtime) and XS Finance may not install completely if other xcite Software products are running.


ALWAYS INSTALL THE XS Runtime.

Installing XS Runtime
It is important to always install the XS Runtime before installing XS Finance. You should do this even if you have ALREADY installed it in the past. The installer will make sure the runtime is up-to-date.

Installing XS Runtime
Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP installation instructions:

• Launch the setup program
  
  Start XS Runtime.exe
  

• Follow the installer on screen instructions
  

Installing XS Finance
Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP installation instructions:

• Launch the setup program
  
  Start XS Finance.exe
  

• Follow the installer on screen instructions

Upgrade process for existing mcBank Users

If you had previously purchased mcBank then follow these steps

• Ensure neither mcBank or XS Finance are running

• Copy mcBank.mcd from the mcBank folder to your XS Finance folder and rename the file to xsFinData.xsd

• Copy mcdataNN.mcd from the mcBank folder to your XS Finance folder and rename the file to xsFinUserNN.xsd   Where NN is a number. Repeat this step for all mcdataNN files.

• Uninstall mcBank application

• Uninstall mClient application (if not required by other applications)
