Configuring XS Finance

Configure XS Finance by selecting Options from the slider.

Change the language by selecting the new language from the language drop list; the options are English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Select the Change Language button to confirm the new language.

Change the date formatting by selecting the new date format from the date format drop list and then selecting the Set Date Format button; the date format options are:

  • Control panel: The date format specified in the Pocket PC control panel 'Regional Settings' is used.

  • M/d/yy: This format specifies a two digit month, day and year in that order

  • d/M/yy: This format specifies a two digit day, month and year in that order.

Change the Show tooltips state. These tooltips appear when the slider is open.

Change the columns displayed in the Register screen. Simply check the columns which you want to be displayed.

Clear the AutoFill entries. Selecting Clear AutoFill from the menu will clear the autofill entries which can be helpful if you find you have too many autofill entries to be of assistance.

Currencies & Rates

Each account in your personal file can be assigned a currency.  What's more you can enter transactions in a different currency to the one assigned to the account. In this case, the foreign amount is converted to the account currency, the rate used is a configurable option, as described below.

The currencies used by XS Finance can be setup by selecting Currencies / Rates from the slider. This will open the currencies and rates main screen.

Note: You can set the home currency in the Currencies/Rates window. This is only used for the mapping of conversion rates in the Currencies/Rates window. To use a different currency for any of your accounts, make sure you set this in the Accounts window. See Creating a New Account for more information. Remember that you can use a different currency for each account if you so wish.
