Cleanup

Sometimes it is useful to clear out account transactions in bulk, leaving the account balance intact. For example, you may only want to keep one years transactions on your unit if memory is limited. XS Finance allows you to cleanup your transactions.

To clean up transactions:

  1. Select an account from the main account list and tap Edit.
  2. Tap the Cleanup button
  3. Tap the Start date date field and pick the date from when the transactions are to be deleted
  4. Tap the End date date field and pick the date that you want to stop deleting at.
  5. Choose from the Status drop list the type of transaction you want to delete
All transactions - deletes all within the date range
Cleared - deletes only Cleared transaction with the date range
Reconciled  - deletes only Reconciled transaction with the date range
Void - deletes only Void  transaction with the date range
  6. Tap the delete button
  7. Tap Yes at the date confirmation screen, or No to stop the delete process
  8. Tap Yes at the confirmation showing the number of transactions that will be deleted or No to stop the delete process.

Cleanup can be used at year end to delete all reconciled transactions within a date range.  Deleting transactions using this screen does not effect account balances.
